The Martial Arts Academy
The roots of our Academy began to grow in 1984 when the Wei chi Kung Fu school was established in Co. Dublin. We have over 25 years of experience offering classes in the area and have built up an excellent reputation for which we are justly proud.
In 1996 we affiliated to world renowned Martial Art Master, Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming and YMAA Ireland was born. Early In 2009 Wei Chi was reborn as a club to develop our Sanshou fighters, taking the ethos of the original club into our competition training.
The Kung Fu for Kids club has gone from strength to strength with almost 200 junior members attending our classes and camps. A separate club for the Pre-teens and teens was created in 2009 and a specially designed program was put in place to allow them to learn a high quality martial art, while at the same time developing their physical and mental well being.
